EDUCKits Outreach
The Rotaract Club of Tacloban, together with the Leyte and Samar Council of Rotaract Clubs, participated in the EDUCKits Outreach Activity during PANAGTAGBO: Rotaract District Conference 2022 in Cordova, Cebu. The initiative provided educational supplies to children, reinforcing Rotaract's commitment to advancing education and empowering young learners.

Fire Relief Operation
The Rotaract Club of Tacloban, in partnership with Volunteers for the Visayans (VFV), extended immediate humanitarian assistance to families affected by the recent fire in Tacloban City. Volunteers distributed food packs, hygiene kits, and clean clothing to help meet the immediate needs of displaced families as they began rebuilding their lives.
Guided by the spirit of bayanihan and compassion, the initiative reflects the club's commitment to providing timely disaster response and standing beside communities during times of crisis. Together, we continue to bring hope, comfort, and resilience to those who need it most.
Hygiene Day
Hygiene Day is the Rotaract Club of Tacloban's health promotion initiative focused on restoring dignity and preventing disease among disaster-affected communities through basic hygiene education and personal care services. By promoting simple yet essential hygiene practices, the project helps protect vulnerable families from illness while supporting their overall well-being during times of crisis.
Following the displacement of families in Barangay Pilar, Abuyog, Leyte, the club conducted Hygiene Day, providing free haircuts, nail care services, and educational sessions on proper toothbrushing and handwashing to more than 300 evacuees. Through this initiative, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban reaffirmed its commitment to promoting health, dignity, and resilience—demonstrating that even the simplest acts of care can make a meaningful difference in rebuilding lives.
#AGATONe: Disaster Relief and Recovery Initiative
#AGATONe is a collaborative disaster response initiative supported by the Rotaract Club of Tacloban and partner organizations to provide humanitarian assistance to communities devastated by Typhoon Agaton. Through collective action and the spirit of bayanihan, the project mobilized donations and essential relief supplies for affected families in Abuyog, Baybay, and other hard-hit areas of Leyte.
A key milestone of the initiative was the partnership and donation turnover from the 521st Department of Air Science & Tactics (DAST) of the Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PHILSCA) – Mactan, whose generous contribution strengthened the relief efforts. Together with numerous civic organizations and volunteers, #AGATONe demonstrated the power of collaboration in delivering hope, relief, and support to disaster-stricken communities as they worked toward recovery and rebuilding.
#AGATONe: Humanitarian Relief Operation
As part of the #AGATONe disaster response initiative, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban and its partner organizations delivered food packs, hygiene kits, undergarments, and water containers to 67 families from Barangay Lawaan, Abuyog, Leyte, who were temporarily sheltered at Abuyog National High School following the devastation caused by Typhoon Agaton.
Through the collective efforts of volunteers and partner organizations, the initiative provided essential relief supplies to help families meet their immediate needs during evacuation. #AGATONe reflects the power of collaboration, compassion, and bayanihan, demonstrating that communities can recover stronger when people come together to serve those most in need.
#AGATONe: Humanitarian Relief Operation
Through the #AGATONe disaster response initiative, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban, together with its partner organizations, extended humanitarian assistance to 130 displaced families from Barangay Pilar, Abuyog, Leyte, who were temporarily sheltered at the MDRRMO Building in Barangay Balocawe following the devastation caused by Typhoon Agaton.
Essential food packs, hygiene kits, undergarments, eco bags, and other relief items were distributed to help families meet their immediate needs during evacuation. This initiative reflects the unwavering spirit of bayanihan and the power of collaboration, demonstrating the club's commitment to providing timely relief, restoring hope, and standing in solidarity with communities affected by disasters.
Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccination Drive
The Rotaract Club of Tacloban proudly supported the launch of the Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccination Program for children aged 5–11 years old, spearheaded by the Tacloban City Hospital at Robinsons Place Marasbaras. By assisting in this public health initiative, the club reaffirmed its commitment to promoting disease prevention and protecting the health of children and families.
Working alongside healthcare professionals, the Department of Health Region VIII, and the City Government of Tacloban, the initiative helped make COVID-19 vaccines more accessible to the community while encouraging parents to protect their children through immunization. Together, we continue to champion healthier, safer, and more resilient communities through preventive healthcare.
TYPE KITA: Ka-Type Kita on Valentine's Day
Love is best shared by giving the gift of life. ❤️ Through TYPE KITA: Ka-Type Kita on Valentine's Day, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban brought together volunteer blood donors for a meaningful Valentine's celebration centered on compassion and service.
Held at Robinsons Place Tacloban, the blood donation drive was made possible through the support of the Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center (EVRMC) Blood Bank and our valued partners. Every blood donation represented hope for patients in need, proving that the greatest expression of love is helping save a life.
KabataAkBai Project
The KabataAkBai Project is a youth empowerment initiative of the Rotaract Club of Tacloban, developed in partnership with the Maasin–Ajonay Rotaract Club and fellow Rotaract Clubs of Rotary International District 3810. Through collaboration and shared leadership, the project aims to create meaningful opportunities for young people by promoting education, leadership development, and community engagement.
Safe Water Initiative
Access to clean water is essential, especially in communities recovering from disasters. In response to the urgent need for safe drinking water after a devastating typhoon, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban, in partnership with Aquatabs Philippines, led a humanitarian initiative to distribute 3,100 water purification tablets to affected households in Southern Leyte.
By providing a simple and effective solution for disinfecting contaminated water, the project helped reduce the risk of waterborne diseases and supported the health and recovery of disaster-affected families. Through the generosity of partners and donors, the initiative reflects the club's commitment to delivering practical, life-saving assistance and building more resilient communities in times of crisis.
Kindness Kitchen
Kindness Kitchen is the Rotaract Club of Tacloban's community feeding initiative, dedicated to addressing hunger by providing nutritious meals to children and families in underserved communities. Guided by the belief that no child should go hungry, the project brings together volunteers and partners to share not only food but also hope, compassion, and kindness.
Through the distribution of McDonald's meals to children, Kindness Kitchen created moments of joy while helping meet their immediate nutritional needs. Beyond serving meals, the initiative reminds children that they are valued and cared for, reinforcing the club's commitment to uplifting communities through simple acts of generosity.
Christmas Outreach: Spreading Hope After Typhoon Odette
The Rotaract Club of Tacloban brought the spirit of Christmas to children affected by Typhoon Odette in Southern Leyte through a heartwarming holiday outreach that delivered joy, hope, and essential support during the season of giving.
Made possible through the collaboration of the Rotary Club of Tacloban, Rotaract Club of Kandaya, Rotaract Clubs of Rotary International District 3810, McCarol Ventures, and generous donors, the initiative distributed gifts and assistance to children and families recovering from the disaster. More than celebrating Christmas, the project reminded every child that even in the aftermath of adversity, compassion, kindness, and the spirit of bayanihan continue to shine.

In response to the devastation caused by Typhoon Odette (Rai), the Rotaract Club of Tacloban, together with the Rotary Club of Tacloban, Rotaract Club of Kandaya, Rotaract Clubs of Rotary International District 3810, Kindness Kitchen of McDonald's Tacloban, and generous donors, distributed 2,000 relief food packs to families affected across Southern Leyte.
The humanitarian mission reached communities in Maasin City, Macrohon, Padre Burgos, and Malitbog, providing much-needed food assistance to families as they began rebuilding their lives. By sharing the spirit of Christmas with affected communities, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban reaffirmed its commitment to bringing comfort, hope, and smiles to those who need them most.
Typhoon Odette Relief Operation
In response to the widespread devastation caused by Typhoon Odette, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban, together with Sprouts PH and numerous partner organizations and donors, conducted a large-scale relief operation across nine municipalities in Southern Leyte. United by the spirit of bayanihan, volunteers delivered essential relief supplies to families struggling to recover from the disaster.
The humanitarian mission distributed food packs, hygiene kits, clean water containers, bottled water, clothing, medicines, diapers, footwear, and other essential items, reaching communities in Mahaplag, Sogod, Libagon, Tomas Oppus, Malitbog, Padre Burgos, Macrohon, and Maasin City. The initiative also extended care to displaced animals through the donation of dog food, reflecting a compassionate response to all those affected by the disaster.
Ride to End Polio Now
The Ride to End Polio Now is one of the flagship advocacy initiatives of the Rotary Club of Tacloban, proudly supported by the Rotaract Club of Tacloban, uniting cyclists, volunteers, and community partners in the global fight to eradicate polio. More than a fun ride, the event raises awareness and mobilizes public support for Rotary International's End Polio Now campaign.
#NosyFallacy: Sino Ba Sila?
#NosyFallacy: Sino Ba Sila? is the Rotaract Club of Tacloban's critical thinking and civic education initiative, designed to help young people become more discerning communicators and responsible digital citizens. Through educational webinars and discussions, the project promotes logical reasoning, media literacy, and respectful dialogue by helping participants recognize common logical fallacies and strengthen evidence-based thinking.
WASH Caravan
The WASH Caravan is one of the health and humanitarian initiatives of the Rotaract Club of Tacloban, dedicated to promoting Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in underserved and geographically isolated communities. COVID-19 Vaccination Drive
The Rotaract Club of Tacloban supported the national effort to achieve herd immunity by organizing a COVID-19 vaccination drive for Rotaractors and their family members. Through strong collaboration with the Tacloban City Hospital, Department of Health Eastern Visayas, and the Tacloban City Health Office, the initiative successfully facilitated the vaccination of 43 Rotaractors and their relatives with the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
The activity also brought together Rotaract clubs across Rotary International District 3860, demonstrating the power of partnership in advancing public health and protecting communities. By promoting vaccination and disease prevention, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban continues its commitment to building healthier, safer, and more resilient communities through collective action.
Technically Speaking: Advanced Microsoft Workshop
Technically Speaking is the Rotaract Club of Tacloban's digital skills and professional development initiative, designed to equip students, young professionals, and aspiring leaders with advanced Microsoft Office competencies essential for academic success and workplace readiness.
Conducted as a free four-week workshop, the program featured Coach Ronel D. Boholano, a certified Microsoft educator and information technology professional, who guided participants in maximizing Microsoft applications for productivity, data management, reporting, and everyday professional tasks. In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Tacloban, fellow Rotaract clubs, and academic partners, Technically Speaking empowered participants with practical digital skills that enhance productivity, improve employability, and prepare them for success in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Frontliners Appreciation Outreach
The Rotaract Club of Tacloban, in partnership with the Bank of Makati – Tacloban, conducted a Frontliners Appreciation Outreach in celebration of the bank's 65th Anniversary by distributing food packs to healthcare workers at the Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center (EVRMC) – Magsaysay.
The initiative served as a simple yet meaningful expression of gratitude to 80 frontliners for their unwavering dedication and service to the community. Through the generosity of Bank of Makati and the collective efforts of Rotaract volunteers and partners, the outreach celebrated the compassion, sacrifice, and resilience of healthcare workers who continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
HEARnani: An Emergency Relief Response
In the aftermath of Typhoon Jolina, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban, in partnership with Volunteers for the Visayans, PALOve As One Project, and the Rotaract Club of Central Tacloban, launched HEARnani: An Emergency Relief Response to support families affected in Hernani, Eastern Samar.
Through the turnover of food packs and hygiene kits to Project Cause Hernani, the initiative provided immediate relief to communities recovering from the devastation brought by the typhoon. Guided by the spirit of bayanihan and compassion, HEARnani reflects the club's commitment to delivering timely humanitarian assistance and standing with communities as they rebuild with hope and resilience.

Bringing together various Zumba groups, community members, and government institutions, the initiative highlighted the importance of maintaining both physical and mental well-being, especially during challenging times. By combining fitness with service, Yes to Dance inspires healthier communities while demonstrating that every step taken together can create a lasting impact.
